So Paul, if you don't tell the players where to shoot the puck, what exactly DO you do?

This, and the general weak incompetence of J. Ferguson, are largely the problems behind the Leafs horrible start to the year. Without a strong leadership behind you, coaching you, working with you, how are the players supposed to pull together and create a solid team?
